Another Time, Another Place

Sean stars with Lana Turner as her love interest in this film set in the Blitz of the Second World War in 1944.

Sean is the dashing married Mark Trevor a BBC reporter, who has an affair with an American Journalist Sara Scott, working in England and Living in London in the dark days of the war. Mark refuses to marry Sara, however, since he already has a wife and a child residing in a small village in Cornwall. Mark leaves for the continent to cover the German surrendor in Italy -- when he perishes in a plane crash. Upon learning of her lover's death, Sara has a nervous breakdown. After her recovery Sara makes a decision: to visit Cornwall and to see Mark's home.

Released by Paramount, Turner had co-star approval and liked what she saw in Sean Directed by Lewis Allen, Sean only survives the first half hour and has forth billing, and funnily for a man fom the Cornish village of St Giles, he still maintains a Scottish accent!
