A Tentieth Century Fox production starring a host of well known names for cameo roles. Typically british the cast included Cecil Parker, Wilfred Hyde White, Kathleen Harrison, Elenor Summerfield, Eric Barker and John Le Mesurier. There had to be an american angle and Alan King was flown in for one days shooting. Sean plays a rogue , Pascoe, who has just joined the RAF and spends his time devising schemes of deception and in the end becomes a hero. Sean's first lead role, and unfortunately the movie flopped but Sean came out mostly unscathed.
In later years this would be the film that Harry Salzman would view when choosing Sean for Bond.
