A Fine Madness

A film about a rebellious poet, shot on location in New York, Sean Connery gives a very fine performance as a bold, outspoken, radical poet who gets caught up in his own momentum. Joanne Woodward as his waitress-wife is brash and funny, and the rest of the cast, mostly made up of Broadway actors, adds greatly to the inventive screwball comedy. Unconventional fun.
