A good story that made a poor film, Sean starred with Richard Harris and Samantha Eggar in America. The Molly Maguires was the nickname of a group of Irish Immegrant miners who formed a secret union in the 1870s to fight against the brutal exploitation of coal miners by the Pennysylvanian owners. However the film was a financial disaster and was one of the top ten losers of the decade, and even Sean came away badly.
