Sean plays King Agamemnon in this madcap comedy. Written and produced by Terry Gilliam, who met Sean on a golf course, he showed Sean a low budget film he was about to make and Sean was so intrigued by it he agreed to appear in the film for no salary, and a percentage of the gross instead.
The plot concentrates on a band of mischievous dwarves who steal a map from the supreme being which leads to the greatest treasure in the universe. Possessing the document allows the group to go back and forth in time. Sean plays a small but pivotal part and was rushed to location in Morocco after agreeing to appear. The film is unique and mostly entertaining, putting you in mind of a Monty Python sketch, and once aware on the small budget you realise the production and special effects are amazing. Sean is the Hero, a king and a father figure and once again does not disappoint.
Also stars John Cleese, David Warner, Michael Palin, Peter Vaugn and Ian Holm.
